If you are an agency-bred, experienced Senior Account Director with experience or interests in lifestyle consumer tech or teleco clients, then WE WANT YOU!
The Opportunity:
- Support the Group Account Director and work closely with the General Manager
- Manage and work across a roster of well-known lifestyle, automotive, consumer tech and telco clients
- Work closely with internal agency digital, creative and social media teams
- Daily client relationship management
- Develop effective PR planning and brand strategy campaigns
- End-to-end campaign development
- Assist the GAD, GM and CEO with developing client pitches
- Pitch to national media and C-Suite stakeholders
- Develop national campaign budgets, forecasting and reporting
- Develop brand strategy and recommendations to key clients
- Mentor and manage several junior staff and interns
You:
- Live in Sydney, Australia and have a fantastic network (suppliers, media, etc.) of contacts
- Currently works in an Account Director level role or has recently been promoted to Senior Account Director
- Have previous experience in a similar role (8-10 years min.) within a Public Relations agency
- Previous experience managing FMCG, food or insurance clients is ideal!
- A relevant tertiary degree in communications or public relations is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of the Australian PR landscape is required
- High attention to detail is critical (bonus points if you spot mistakes in this job advert!)
- Exceptional communicator (oral and written)
- Confident presenter
- Excellent time management skills
