This PR Director (Corporate) role sits within the corporate communications team and will directly support the GM & MD.
The Opportunity:
- Support the General Manager & Managing Director
- Manage and work across a roster of well-known corporate brands
- Work closely with internal agency digital, creative and social media teams
- Daily client relationship management
- Develop effective PR planning and brand strategy campaigns
- End-to-end campaign development
- Assist the GM and MD with developing and presenting client pitches
- Pitch to national media and C-Suite stakeholders
- Develop national campaign budgets, forecasting and reporting
- Develop brand strategy and recommendations to key clients
- Mentor and manage several junior PR staff.
You:
- Live in Sydney, Australia and have a fantastic network (suppliers, media, etc.) of contacts
- Currently work in an Group Account Director level role & would like to move up!
- Have previous corporate experience in a similar role (10+ years min.) within Public Relations
- Previous experience managing and liaising with c-suite corporate clients
- A relevant tertiary degree in communications or public relations is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of the Australian PR landscape is required
- High attention to detail is critical (bonus points if you spot mistakes in this job advert!)
- Exceptional communicator (oral and written)
- Confident presenter
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative, collaborative and supportive of others
