We’re looking for a junior level PR talent with experience in public relations, social media & content. The successful PR Executive can keep up with a fast-paced, energetic team that has been listed as one of Australia’s fastest-growing public relations agencies.

The Opportunity:
- Support and work closely with the PR leadership team
- Proactively track media coverage achieved daily on all assigned clients
- Copywriting and content management for a range of mediums spanning website, brochure copy, marketing, creative campaigns, eDMs
- Strategic brainstorming and generating ideas and concepts for client accounts
- Craft a wide range of communications documents including, but not limited to; press releases, media backgrounders, social media calendars, case studies, event proposals, eDMs, marketing materials, content marketing pieces, planning documents etc
- Manage deadlines effectively and independently
- Effectively update WIP documents and drive the management of key account documents and meeting notes
- Complete daily media monitoring including newspaper reviews and identifying strategic and relevant media stories and potential journalist contacts
- Work with internal teams to oversee and deliver digital creative assets
- Drive creative and branding initiatives from brief to completion
- Create and develop PR strategies
- Manage social media content creation
- Conceptualise, design and execute compelling visual assets for digital mediums including websites, social, email and advertising
- Develop wireframes and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas
- WordPress management
- Liaison with IT or hosting providers and CRM partner programs (Salesforce etc)
- Work closely with a team of PR, Social Media Strategists and Digital Marketing Managers
- Develop paid/organic social recommendations and strategies designed to meet the goals provided in briefs from internal teams and key stakeholders
- Develop client content (reels, etc.)
- Report on results from analysing the target audience and key messages to recommend the right channel mix across the brand portfolio
- Manage multiple internal brands and projects simultaneously to ensure successful delivery on time and budget
- Be a calm, strategic problem solver!
- Make PR, social media and strategic recommendations to internal clients and key stakeholders.
You:
- Live in Melbourne, Australia and have full working rights
- Minimum 2-3+ years of experience working in a PR or PR & Social Media role is idea
- Bachelor’s Degree in PR or Digital Marketing or a related field
- Proficiency in industry-standard programs including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress. Figma experience looked at favourably, too
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and layout techniques
- Experience with responsive design principles including design optimisation for web/mobile and print
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a willingness to learn and grow
- Have proven experience managing the social & content for brands (not influencers)
- Previous experience working in an agency environment is ideal!
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics and the ability to assess campaign progress strategically and optimise accordingly
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret performance trends to identify efficiencies
- Previous experience working in a complex, operational environment and collaborating with multiple and diverse stakeholders to drive success
- Salesforce ecosystem knowledge – including Marketing Cloud
