MELB Freelance Content Manager (Streetwear) $350 per day

An opportunity is now available for an experienced content manager with brand client experience, to work with Australia’s hottest Streetwear + Lifestyle magazine! You’ll work closely with a well-oiled editorial, creative and social team that develops strategic solutions and best publishing practices for a well-known print publication.

The Opportunity:

  • Support the AUS Managing Editor
  • Manage workflow within the studio (+ delegate jobs) and ensure all admin is checked
  • Work with the Managing Editor to build and manage the content calendar
  • Work with the Managing Editor to optimise content practices and processes
  • Source news for daily content
  • Ensure the development of great content, both written and visual, from conceptualisation to publication online and in print
  • Spotlight the business and product with storylines that will captivate and pull in the target audience
  • Manage content schedules and calendars for the brand
  • Produce engaging short-form posts, long-form features and social captions
  • Actively participate in social media, creating business/product marketing content relevant to the target audience

You:

  • Live in Melbourne
  • Have a working knowledge of ClickUp & Slack management tools
  • Have an eye for detail and recognise the difference between great versus low-quality content!
  • Are admin-focused and have exceptional detail in your work
  • Knowledge of digital publishing systems and social media
  • Have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a desire to inspire junior editorial personnel, constantly improving the Studio’s content while enhancing the audience’s engagement
  • Highly analytical and can evaluate both external and internal databases to ensure that the content is accurate, up-to-date, and in line with the messages, values, and goals of the business
  • Have 1-3+ years of experience working in a content/ editing-heavy role
  • Are confident across digital platforms, including; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram and proficient in MS Office/Software, Final Cut, Avid, Premier, and Photoshop
