We’re thrilled to be working with an expanding national media agency during a BIG growth phase! With several new client wins, the successful Digital Director will step in and take the reins of one of Melbourne’s most cherished and respected Digital Performance teams.
The Opportunity:
- As the successful Digital Director you’ll be leading, inspiring and managing an enthusiastic team of Paid Media Leads, Executives, Specialists and Account Managers that delivers ‘all things’ digital media
- Set, define and lead a responsive strategic vision for the paid media department
- Oversee all workload planning, quality assurance and process improvement initiatives that will enable your department to deliver best-in-class outcomes
- Create digitally-led and performance-driven solutions
- Bring your department’s portfolio of clients closer to their audience!
- Champion the team and take the lead on team engagement and delivery of all-paid media work
- Lead all strategic client decisions and be accountable for the performance, growth, success and evolution of your department
- Be a voice of leadership for your team
You:
- Live in Melbourne and have full working rights
- Have at least 8+ years of Paid Media experience, with approx. 3-4 years in a leadership role
- Agency (media) experience is desirable
- Have an innate understanding of the global and local digital media ecosystem, including publishers, platforms and technology players, with a strategic, empathetic and creative mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills
- Outstanding ability to turn client briefs into fantastic digital marketing plan
- Strong experience leading a team with proven management experience
- Excellent verbal, written and comms skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional stakeholder management experience
- A keen understanding of agency economics
- Incredible business acumen
