The Opportunity:
- Work directly with the ELT
- Support the delivery of PR campaigns (retained & project based)
- Develop of media strategies and creative campaign ideas!
- Develop media releases, pitches, briefing documents, features and bylined articles
- Pitch stories to national media and influencers & gain outstanding coverage
- Relationship management with journo’s etc
- Develop media lists across key client sectors (tech, education, superannuation, employment etc)
- Manage and respond to media enquiries
- Develop media opps; interviews, product send-outs and talent logistics
- Assist in the delivery of influencer programs, events and activations
- Monitor, track and report on media coverage and campaign performance.
You:
- Live in Melbourne, AUS
- Have 3-5 years PR experience (agency preferred)
- Experience pitching to national media
- Proven results in section coverage for you clients
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality output
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
