MELB Contract Social Director (Partnerships) $100k-$125k

This 12-month contract will be snapped up quickly! We are looking to place a strategically-led Talent with an eye for detail, the ability to lead, and a passion for creating consumer content campaigns.

You have proven experience in paid social and content partnerships and describe yourself as a highly organised, efficient project manager who can juggle several hats. You can turn a trend into a genuine creative thought starter—or even a potentially award-winning idea!

With a key focus on project management, you’ll be responsible for creating interesting and engaging stories across various social media platforms.

The Opportunity:

  • Support the SLT (Head of Digital, Head of Trading)
  • Drive the development of paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Develop digital strategy for clients across paid and organic channels
  • Manage and mentor a team of two (Social & Content Managers), providing ongoing training
  • Build client and stakeholder relationships through thought leadership and guidance
  • Work closely with internal teams
  • Act as a key point of contact for managing media deals with social partners (Meta, TikTok) and other external partners
  • Develop and manage business plans with SLT members
  • Develop annual budgets and forecasts
  • Establish best practices across planning, implementation, and client reporting
  • Stay up to date with competitor activity, industry research, and trade intelligence

You:

 

  • Based in Melbourne
  • Full working rights (no sponsorship required)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a social and content role
  • Agency experience is required
  • Experience in organic social management and influencer partnerships
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to deliver results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in presenting
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to drive end-to-end deliverables and understand and execute client contracts
