This growing SYD-based indie agency is looking for an enthusiastic Event Manager with at least 2+ years experience to join their team!
The successful Event Manager will be responsible for delivering complete event and experiential projects on time and within budget, and managing those projects from initiation through to post event review.
The Opportunity:
- Support the Project Director, and Senior Event Producer
- Manage and mentor juniors/interns
- Work with the team to brainstorm ideas and developing creative concepts
- Assist in preparing concept proposals including researching and presentations
- Deliver a variety of event solutions for Australian brands within the sport, food, beverage, lifestyle & N4P sectors
- Identify challenges, troubleshoot and provide solutions
- Manage and/or prepare internal and external written briefings
- Client liaison for duration of projects in office or at client’s office as required
- Timeline and milestone planning
- Write and manage run sheets, bump in and bump out schedule
- Manage the coordination and implementation of creative
- Lead liaison and coordination for all third party suppliers
- Assist with project budgeting
- Oversee bump in of suppliers, managing crews, training staff
- Oversee the smooth running of event, problem solving etc
- Oversee bump-out within OH&S and company standards
- Write and co-present debrief and wrap-up
- Manage internal and external talent
You:
- Live in Sydney! And have full working rights in AUS
- The successful Event Manager has at least 2 years’ corporate production or events experience, a keen eye for detail, quality control management, time management and team coordination
- Can support the ELT and liaise with senior level/C-Suite decision-makers professionally at all times
- Have exceptional communication skills (essential)
- Excel in project management
- A strong background in experiential, events, shopper and/or multichannel marketing is desirable
- Outstanding multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
