MELB Media Account Director (Retail, Food, Lifestyle) $90k-$120k

Join a Melbourne indie media agency that has a deep commitment to its people, culture & clients. Managing and developing strategic campaigns for retail, tourism, food, banking and lifestyle brands, this Account Director role will be responsible for leading others, plus innovation and strategy.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead a portfolio of client accounts and be a trusted strategic partner to your team & clients
  • Oversee strategy for your clients, strengthen client relationships and achieve business goals
  • Day-to-day campaign management
  • Be a thought leader across integrated media channels (on and offline)
  • Mentor and manage a small team of three & provide ongoing direction and support
  • New business growth (new & organic clients)
  • Develop integrated, data-led media solutions
  • Ensure briefs are running on time, brief, and on budget
  • Provide recommendations to clients
  • Develop paid, owned and earned media briefs
  • Develop and oversee annual client plans, activity and strategy
  • Develop client reports and performance reviews.

You:

 

  • Live in Melbourne
  • Have full working rights and do not require sponsorship
  • Currently work in a media agency, account service role
  • Have at least 5+ account service experience (SAM or newly promoted AD)
  • Proven experience meeting client expectations & relationships
  • Experience working in a media agency
  • Previous experience managing media strategies
