This MELB-based media & comms agency takes a fresh approach to brand comms and they’re not afraid to show it! This agency has grown rapidly and is now seeking an experienced marketing Account Director with proven social & content expertise to lead existing and newly-acquired accounts within their business.
Specialising in design, tourism, architecture & lifestyle clients, this agency offers integrated services across marketing, PR, strategy, social media, content, copy and media, and your role will be to join an enthusiastic team of smart, switched-on high performers.
The Opportunity:
- Support the GM & Founder
- This Account Director will be the face of client relationships
- You will be directly responsible for the day-to-day strategic stewardship of client accounts
- Responsible for overseeing account resources and campaign delivery with internal teams
- A key driver of client results, coordinating client teams, to ensure that strategies are delivered and implemented with excellence, tasks are delegated effectively, work is carried out to the highest standard, deadlines are met, and budgets are managed
- This role requires mastery of integrated marketing services, strong team leadership, and the commercial acumen to deliver exceptional client outcomes while maintaining agency profitability and operational excellence
- Develop creative campaign proposals and concepts
- Develop campaign messaging for clients
- Develop marketing and public relations campaigns (including community and government relations)
- Media strategy and delivery
- Develop third-party partnerships/sponsorships
- Attend client events and activations
- Develop social media and content strategies.
You:
- Live in Melbourne and have full working rights
- Have a minimum of 7-8+ years’ related marketing industry (agency ideal) experience
- Have the ability to think quickly on your feet and deliver solution-based strategies for your clients
- Experience working collaboratively with agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns
- Able to juggle multiple campaigns at once with sharp time management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in account management and/or campaign or project management
- Demonstrated client experience in the property, design or tourism industries
- Demonstrated knowledge of media advertising, communications and marketing practices
- Experience in juggling multiple projects and liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency using Adobe, and additionally, preferred Indesign proficiency
- Proficiency using analytics tools including Facebook Insights and Google Analytics
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Outstanding communication skills and creative writing skills to the highest calibre
- Results oriented, with excellent analytical skills to effectively measure success
- Demonstrated interest in property, design, hospitality and tourism
- Tertiary degree in communications, marketing or public relations
