SYDNEY PR Account Managers! Can we pay you to work with Sydney’s most awarded PR agency? This agency boasts a fantastic team culture, a roster of diverse consumers & corporate clients, and they REALLY invest in their staff.
Supporting a busy Managing Director, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with clients, manage budgets and liaise with national media.
The Opportunity:
- Support the Managing Director and work closely with the leadership team
- Manage and work across a roster of well-known consumer tech, business events, tourism & workplace/HR clients
- Work closely with internal agency digital, creative and social media teams
- Daily client relationship management
- Develop effective PR planning and brand strategy campaigns
- Assist in end-to-end campaign development
- Assist the MD with developing client pitches
- Pitch to national media!
- Assist in developing campaign budgets, forecasting and reporting
- Assist in developing brand strategy and recommendations for key clients
- Database management
- Mentor and manage several junior staff and interns.
You:
- Live in Sydney, Australia and have a fantastic network (suppliers, media, etc.) of contacts
- Work in an AM level role or have recently been promoted to an AM-level PR position
- Have previous experience in a similar role (3-4 years) within a Public Relations agency
- Previous experience managing fitness, lifestyle or tourism clients is ideal!
- Relevant tertiary degree in communications or public relations is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of the Australian PR landscape is required
- High attention to detail is critical (bonus points if you spot mistakes in this job advert!)
- Exceptional communicator (oral and written)
- Confident presenter
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative, collaborative and supportive of others
