The Account Director (Strategy) will be responsible for driving day-to-day innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives, working closely with Account Management and Creative in the planning and development of data-informed, strategically sound creative solutions. You will work across both online and offline to deliver best-in-class strategic executions.

The Opportunity:

  • Leading the strategic approach, working across all teams to challenge thinking and bring ideas to life
  • Developing and presenting digital, integrated and campaign launch strategies to clients
  • Interpret client briefings and collaborate with internal teams teams
  • Understanding digital and physical touchpoints across various platforms
  • An understanding of strategy fundamentals, research, performance marketing and e-commerce is beneficial for this role
  • Relationship building with key clients/ stakeholders
  • Develop consumer insights
  • New business opportunities and pitch proposals and preparations
  • Understanding of KPIs and how best to measure success in brand, digital or social strategy
  • A grasp of how businesses, brands and consumers interact
  • Collaborate with the internal creative team to develop concepts and campaigns


  • Live in Melbourne & have full working rights
  • Qualification in Marketing and/or Strategy (or similar)
  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role or relevant experience
  • Customer strategy planning experience is highly desirable
  • Past experience in strategy, marketing, managing global brands, and international experience welcomed
  • Research experience is also advantageous
  • An influencer, who projects authenticity and a high level of emotional intelligence
  • An advanced communicator, with verbal, written and visual presentation skills
  • Display a genuine passion and interest for the industry
  • Results-driven, open-minded and positive personality
  • Inspires strategic thinking
