1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before they’re 85 years old and it is estimated that 17,586 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year alone.
We are partnering with a lingerie brand whose sexy mastectomy bras are designed for those brave women that are fighting, or have beaten breast cancer.
Giving women the opportunity to reconnect with their femininity and feel comfortable with their bodies, this proud Australian brand now seeks a Public Relations Senior Account Manager or Account Director level Talent to help increase the brands awareness (and the incredible story of the founder) and assist with online exposure.
To help get this brand up and running, this role would suit a Talent or PR Agency that is willing to work one day (or half day) per week pro-bono to really make a difference.
Work closely with the Founder to create PR strategy that will drive more brand exposure and convert this into sales
Be proactive of all news and trends in the industry, be on top of new and emerging media channels through attending industry events and conferences and through your own competitor research
Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with key influencers, media and suppliers
Ensure that client objectives are met through effective management of their campaigns
Oversee planning and strategy development for the brand
Identify new PR opportunities
Ideally you will have at least 4+ years experience working in PR and a great network of local media contacts
You will understand the unique needs of retail, eCommerce and fashion and have a background across these industries
This fantastic role is an opportunity to give back to the community and ensure that women that have beaten breast cancer can still wear lingerie that makes them feel sexy, feminine and beautiful.
If you can help or know of a PR Talent or PR Agency that is interested in making a difference to this small business, please get in touch. Melbourne Talents are also welcome to apply as this role can be done remotely.
