An independent, large sized media agency in Melbourne’s Bayside now seek a strategically minded junior level talent to develop & deliver communications campaigns to existing consumer retail clients. You describe yourself as an innovative thinker, innovator and collaborator.
Reporting into the Head of Strategy, you will identify, build & present concepts to key clients and stakeholders. You’re confident with numbers & analysing visuals and can have discussions with clients, colleagues and key stakeholders. You’re curious and can identify new approaches or trends for your clients.
To work within the strategy team to create ideas, new strategies and work on new business pitches
To build positive relationships with media owners
To promote strategy within the business by developing great working relationships with account service, digital, trading & planning teams
Actively participate in new business pitches and brainstorm sessions
Ideal knowledge & skill set:
2-3 years experince within a media or strategy focused agency
Relevant tertiary qualification across marketing/advertising or statistics
Exposure to strategy / strategic planning at a creative or media agency
Excellent written and communication skills that will influence and inspire
A deep understanding and knowledge of standard media research tools available in the market – for example Roy Morgan, Adquest, OzTam, Google analytics, etc
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Project management skills
Strong analytical skills
